Ok, I may not come on here as often as I should due to schoolwork and whatnot; but don't tell me you're trying to discuss IGN logic, it is the internet's way of talking to a brick wall.

...Phew. I don't think he noticed I'm Sheogorath and thus indirectly mockin' his Irish accent. :shot:

You can't spell ignorance without IGN.

But yea, it's no doubt in my mind that they rate games based on who bribes them, might explain a bit.

Anyways, I haven't gotten to play Sonic 4-2 yet. But it does look good, and the music is good too.

PostSubject: Re: The Sonic Discussion Thread: Digitally Remastered Platinum Edition   Tue 22 May 2012, 1:59 pm

Well, my Irishman friend, I recently purchased Oblivion for my Xbox (instead of borrowing my cousin's PS3 copy) for lolz and to get a bunch of refferences and lore in Skyrim that actually originated in Oblivion (I.E., several lines of Sheogorath, the Dark Brotherhood being crippled, Lucien Lachance, etc.) and to play some of the quests I never got to before returning the PS3 copy to my cousin such as the Dark Brotherhood Questline (which is awesome/depressing...but poison apples FTW!), the Shivering Isles DLC (Which is EPIC), Daedric Shrine Quests, etc.

Anyways, I was playing and made my way through the Shivering Isles DLC, which is basically going to Sheogorath's Domain (you guessed it, the Shivering Isles) and doing a bunch of odd jobs and insane quests (literally, they're insane. He's not the Daedric Prince of Madness for nothing! ...Except when he is.).

Well do you know how the questline ends? ...If you don't, I'm suprised someone hasn't blabber-mouthed it to you by now (like I was >_>).

Spoiler:

^ click if you want to know, unless you plan on getting Oblivion and the Shivering Isles DLC

(which I recommend if you're willing to put up with ugly-as-sin cartoony character graphics, fewer [and in some cases worse] voice actors, and toned-down environment graphics and combat in exchange for more complex factions and morality system, more variety between cities, and an overall better and more memorable story in my opinion)

Actually it's SHAE-OH-GOR-ATH

Wait...obvious troll is obvious.

...SO BACK TO SONIC DISCUSSION! Anyone found out if Sonic 4-2 for iOS is the same as the console versions (besides minor graphical differences)?

Good news everyone:

Hi *insert name here*

Great news! You've been waiting and the time has come . . . US and Canada store launched today.

You'll see there's a few 'coming soon' pages, we're working round the clock to get these filled. So please bear with us. We've emailed the lucky winners of the 20th Anniversary Statue, so if' you have not had an email yet, bad luck.
We'll have more competitions for these statues over the coming months and we've even got a handful of Nendroids to give away . . .

Visit us online to see our selection of Sonic The Hedgehog products at www.sonicmerchandise.com/us
------------------------
Also a 300 page History of Sonic Book is coming out:
http://blogs.sega.com/2012/07/06/us-onlypre-order-the-history-of-sonic-the-hedgehog-book-at-amazon-com/

And finally the Sonic skins app is now free on your ipod or iphone (Which is awesome and apparently was free last month but came up on my facebook feed today):

So SoS happened today, and a Sumo Digital Q&A session occurred. In said session, NiGHTS and (possibly) Reala were revealed to be characters in ASRT! Yaaay.

Looks like Needle's fantasy came true.

You better believe it came true

It just makes me excited. Especially if it is true Capcom of all people went for it. I mean really, how awesome if it meant they're getting serious again?

Also, Wreck it Ralph has a Sonic cameo (and not just a small one), with Sonic doing a PSA. And I think as a "scratch my back I scratch yours" deal, Wreck it Ralph will be appearing in All-stars Racing 2.

We don't do character questions in this thread normally, but I'll make an exception this time. I think it's safe to say Hatsune Miku won't be appearing in Transformed. Whilst she does appear in SEGA games, she's not owned by SEGA, so she's not the character I was referring to as the last non-SEGA one. Sorry!

So apparently there is one more Non-Sega character for the game, so that means we'll have Danica Patrick (Nascar), Ralph (Wreck-it Ralph), and a Mystery 3rd racer.

I have a feeling of who it is, but I'll wait for when they do announce whoever it is.

Dearest Needly The Fiddlin' Mousen Man, Megaman has had his own racing game before, go on the Internet and find it.
He can go ride that car, my friend. That or the Guts Man Buster Tank thing from Megamanic Two.

I know, but that "car" is Rush, and Rush can turn also into a Jet AND a Submarine/Boat, So there's his vehicle right there, and his all-star move could very well be fusing with Rush. Not to mention, each of these three have something in common as guest stars. They all are currently have some partnership with Sega's Mascot

Danica Patrick: She currently rides a SAR2 car, not much really, which is why I put quote marks between crossing over. But regardless.

Ralph: Sonic appears in the movie, and not just like the other characters, he actually has a speaking role.

Megaman: He and Sonic have a 12 issue comic saga coming around.

It just makes sense for it to be Megaman. If it isn't I have no problem with it, but it just makes so much sense for it to be him.

I could see Megaman happening... but why Hatsuna Miku? Only connection I saw she made was the remake of the Live and Learn song she recently made.
