Considering that's it's still going to be in beta, and is coming out with more features, including multiple worlds within a universe, yeah, uh, probably not for you.

My opinion of Starbound so far:
Do not pride yourself on having enemies having to go through an attack animation to deal damage, or generate with an object that would make it be sensible (A turtle with a spiked shell for instance) and then decree THAT RUNNING DEALS DAMAGE. What the fuck, maybe it's just me being mad 'cause I'm bad but NO. I AIN'T HAVIN' THAT SHIEEET. Yes, I know that it's got a noise and the smoke particles, but it's just fast walking. And fast walking dealing damage is touch damage, not an animation. If it was fast walk + fast claw swipe, I'd have no problem, but no bites, claw swipes, just running into you.
Maybe it gets tolerable once you get a shield, but I keep dying to birds coming down spewing flames and Charmander-Bulbasaurs in caves, 'cause I'm bad. and I wanna go to bed.
